U Drive Screws

A U-drive screw, also known as a U-drive nail, is a specialized fastener designed for unique applications. It consists of a straight shank with a blunt, pointed end and a U-shaped or square bend near the top. These screws are often used for securing lightweight materials like cardboard, leather, or fabric to wood or metal surfaces. To use a U-drive screw, you simply insert the pointed end into the material you want to fasten and then drive it into the underlying surface using a hammer or mallet. The U-shaped or square bend provides resistance, preventing the screw from pulling out easily. U-drive screws are typically used in applications where a more traditional screw or nail might not be suitable, such as attaching signs, nameplates, or tags to surfaces. They offer a simple and secure way to fasten materials temporarily or in situations where frequent removal and reattachment are necessary.
